With the arrival of spring, the first festivities of El Poble Nou de Benitatxell are celebrated. On the first Sunday in May the commemoration of the Rose, the name given to the festival dedicated to the Mare de Déu del Roser or Virgin of the Rosary. A few days of festivities are organized around this day, based on their religious origin, and currently include festive events for all ages.

The Festeros of each year organize the festive programming in which “els pans benets” (blessed bread) cannot be missing, which are distributed to all the houses in the town; the costume parade on Sant Pancraci's day; the fun “carreres de galls” (“rooster races”) in which the prize is a chicken for the cuadrilla paellas; the offering of flowers or the festivals, among many others.

These festivals are celebrated around the first Sunday in May and last for a few days. See the exact date on the annual calendar. The footpath leads to a viewpoint where is sighted, to the north, the entire beach of Moraig from a new perspective, with the Cap de la Nau in the background. We end up at an area of geological interest, the fault, the diary or in the tourist office.
